What's changed

Changes to BatchFlow, newest first. A change marked "Re-check" touches something you validated: run those OQ scripts again (Settings > Validation).

  • Correct a lot on a shipped shipment: when a different lot left than the one recorded, pick the lot that really left (for all of a line or part of it) with a reason. The stock follows, and lot pages, the trace and recalls show the lot that left.Re-check: OQ-08 Lot trace
  • Allergens on the floor: a job shows its allergens, and when the room last ran an allergen this job doesn't have, its cleaning must be a changeover or deep cleaning.Re-check: OQ-07 Production record
  • A record form can say what closing a record does to its linked lots (hold, release or reject them), signed with the close. A delivery's lots can be inspected together under one signature, and the office's production order has Pull them all.Re-check: OQ-02 Electronic signatures; OQ-06 Receiving, quarantine and release; OQ-11 Controlled documents
  • Warehouse tasks: put-away, pick spot refills, cycle counts due, transfers between buildings, guided picking on a phone, expiring and slow stock, and Zebra labels that print straight to the printer with Zebra Browser Print.
  • AI helpers (drafts only, you check and sign): read a supplier's certificate of analysis into the lot's results, read a label photo at receiving, and fill in a deviation or complaint from a description. Billing shows this month's AI use.
  • The status page lists incidents of the last 90 days.

  • Fewer steps every day. After your first signature in a sign-in, your initials are filled in and you type only your PIN. On the floor, Pull them all pulls every material with one signature (each lot picked, what's left filled in), and weighing a material that isn't pulled yet pulls it from the lot you pick. A purchase order's whole delivery is received on one screen (Receive this delivery), the receiving inspection has All yes, and cleaning logs start with the last agent and its lot.Re-check: OQ-02 Electronic signatures; OQ-06 Receiving, quarantine and release; OQ-07 Production record
  • Faster setup. New imports: ingredients lists (one row per ingredient), people, equipment (a scale's check weights too) and places, also on setup's Bring your records. Suppliers you approved before BatchFlow are approved together with one signature (Suppliers > Approve several at once), a new person's starting PIN goes on the Add a person form, and People sets starting PINs for everyone without one in one go.
  • Supervisors see their people's training: choose who each person reports to under People, and anyone with the new Training records permission sees a card for each person under them, with their progress on every course. They can sign off a passed course with their own initials and PIN; Settings > Training can require that sign-off before a course counts.Re-check: OQ-02 Electronic signatures; OQ-10 Training
  • Help > Tours: step-by-step tours of everyday jobs (start a job, receive a delivery, ship an order, trace a lot and more). Run one in your company to look, or practice it in a demo company of your own, where nothing touches your real records.

  • Quick cards to print, one page each in English or Spanish, for the floor (signing in, running a job) and the warehouse (scanning, receiving, moving pallets, picking, counting): Set up your devices > Quick cards to print.
  • Help has a section on phones, tablets and scanners: what hardware works, what happens when the connection drops, and working in Spanish.

October 23, 2026

  • Release notes start here. Everything before this date is covered by the IQ, OQ and PQ protocols in Settings > Validation.
  • Outside documents can be attached: a supplier's certificate of analysis to its lot (also when receiving), certificates and audit reports to a supplier (with an expiry date), packing slips and invoices to a purchase order. They're never changed or removed.Re-check: OQ-06 Receiving, quarantine and release
  • Comments at the foot of lots, production orders, purchase and sales orders, suppliers, customers and documents. Type @ to mention someone: they're told in the bell and on their phone. Comments are kept with the record and in the audit trail; they're not signatures.Re-check: OQ-04 Audit trail
  • Each sign-in with an email and password is now recorded in the company's audit trail (Settings > Audit trail, "Sign-in or lock"), after the second step for companies that require two-step sign-in.Re-check: OQ-01 Signing in and access; OQ-04 Audit trail
  • Settings > Validation explains who does what in validation, and prints a letter to the FDA for 21 CFR 11.100(c).

The app version (shown on the status page and printed on each validation document) changes with every update; only changes customers notice are listed here.
